 Our Work

In English, we have been reading Arthur and the Golden Ropes by Joe Todd Stanton. We used a part of the story to create our own news reports. In our work, we included a title, picture, caption, an interesting introduction and eye witness reports. Here is our display of our brilliant work.

We have been learning about branch databases. After learning what an attribute is, we used the J2 Data website to create our own branch databases. We selected six animals and thought of different questions to sort these into their own groups. Here is some examples of our work:

This half term, we are learning how to sew with the end goal of making our own cushions. At the beginning of the topic, we looked at a range of materials and tried to name them all. In our next lesson, we used a needle, thread and a binka to create a running stitch. The next stage of our project was to design a front cover for our cushion. This week we have started to sewing, so watch this space for our end results.
